“Oh my God, I got so sick after Christmas one year, I ate so much at my aunt’s house and went, and we had all this Italian food and then when I did Spring Awakening, I should have thought about it, where I’m getting beat up here, and crying over there, and dying over there, and I came and I told Jonathan before the show, I said, if all of a sudden in a scene my understudy comes on it’s because I’m sick, and I came on and I was so sick during one of the scenes and all he did the whole time was laugh at me. There I was feeling so sick and he was laughing, it was during the Word of your Body scene, and I came on stage, the whole room was spinning for me, and I just was like, tears were welling in my eyes and it was Christmas and he just thought it was the funniest, funniest thing.” -Lea Michele
